We met in Kindergarten and started playing music together in the 5th grade band. Steve played the trombone and Brendan played the baritone horn. Our first songs were, "Mary Had a Little Lamb" and "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star." Little did we know they would be our biggest hits decades later!
Steve sings and plays guitar (and other funny little stringed instruments like mandolins, banjos, and ukuleles). Before Hullabaloo, Steve taught K-6 music in the public schools for 8 years.
Brendan sings and plays a variety of percussion instruments including kit drums, body percussion (hand claps, finger snaps and foot stomps, chest-pounding, etc.) and cajon—a wooden percussion instrument from Peru. Before Hullabaloo, Brendan was a pirate.
